We’re proud of our hunting heritage and we believe that the magical work of a well-trained gundog is far more exciting and fulfilling than the actual harvest of game.

Gundog Magic represents three generations of hunters and gundog enthusiasts. Tim has been training and hunting beagles for over 40 years. A newer passion is training German shorthairs and working to restore bobwhite quail locally in southwestern Ohio. Son-in-law, Duane grew up working tree dogs in central Kentucky. Squirrels by day and coons by night………..and it’s tough for him to decide which he likes the best! Duane’s son, Ethan enjoys all the dogs and is an enthusiastic hunting buddy to his Dad and his Grandpa. Ethan is a good dog handler at a young age and can share a hunting story with the best of them. It’s his generation that will carry on the proud hunting heritage we all are privileged to enjoy.

At Gundog Magic, our goal is to promote the use of high quality, well-trained gundogs both in our own hunting activities and in yours. Good training is hard work and we appreciate the kinds of equipment that make it easier for the dog to learn his job and learn it well. We love to evaluate equipment to see what works and well and what doesn’t. We’d like to share what we’ve learned with you by offering for sale good equipment at a fair price.

We also have a few well-started young gundogs of various breeds for sale from time to time. These are young dogs born and raised here on the farm that know their purpose in life.
